Following an explosive start to the season with Worcestershire, B3’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore has been signed by his home county, Yorkshire CCC on a new 3 year. The speed of the move came as somewhat of a shock because Tom had expected to complete the deal at the end of the current campaign but Worcester decided the sooner the better and the deal completed in early June.

Tom, 22, is Yorkshire born and bred so familiar with the surroundings and some of the players from his schoolboy cricket days. In a team, full to the brim with internationals, he knows that getting in the team is going to be hard work but it’s a challenge he’s more than up for.

“Obviously it was a massive decision to move home and I find it incredibly exciting,” TKC told Yorkshire’s club website.

“I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and part of my decision to move was to challenge and test myself in what is a great environment and a very strong squad. Hopefully this will help me improve and push me on to higher levels.”

It was great to have Tom visit us at the factory last week, he was also keen to try our new indoor net facility and brand new top of the range bowling machine. Here’s a video of Tom showing just why he’s one of the hottest properties in cricket!
