Pro Range
Our Pro Range cricket bats are the largest profile bats we make at reasonable weights (from 2lb 9oz).
Our bat makers achieve this by using our Pro Grade willow which is naturally low-density*. These bats are also slightly thinner, hence the term, Ultra **.
* Our low-density clefts are not force dried to achieve lower weights because this makes bats too brittle. The lower density is completely natural, and they are still within the 10%-12% moisture content range, as recommend and delivered to us by JS Wrights.
** Our Ultra bats ** Our Ultra bats are made to 106mm width instead of 108mm. This width is consistent for the entire length of the blade, we DO NOT taper the edges or make the bat thinner at the shoulder or toe ends.
