In conjunction with Cricket Yorkshire and the Women’s Cricket Blog we have recently given two lucky winners the ‘Pro Treatment’ down here at B3!

Cricket Yorkshire is a great blog /website written by John Fuller. John writes some interesting and insightful stuff around both the amateur and professional game. Have a look at his site here.

The Cricket Yorkshire competition was won by 75 year old Mel Neary who is incredibly in this 60th season of league cricket. Mel still turns out for his beloved Selby CC and as you can imagine, he was thrilled to visit the factory and design his very own B3 belter.

Mel spent a couple of hours with us down at B3 trying various weights and shapes. The photograph below shows Mel with B3’s MD, Michael Blatherwick, sharing their combined 125 years of knowledge.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the competition run in conjunction with the Women’s Cricket Blog was won by 15 year old Eleanor Todd who plays for Canterbury CC.
