North vs South- Captain Mull Heads to Dubai!

Notts Cricket Captain

Newly appointed Notts Captain and B3 Ambassador, Steve Mullaney had a fantastic all round season in 2017. It’s great to see his efforts rewarded by being asked to Captain the ‘North’ against the ‘South’ in the County Championships curtain raiser for the 2018 season. The match is being played out in Dubai (tough gig MullJ) and he’ll be marshalling a very strong North team in what the ECB describe as an important “platform for players to make an impression” in regard to their international ambitions. Mull always seems to rise to the challenge and we wish him all the best with both bat and ball. Victory over his Southern counterparts would be the perfect start to life as Captain Mull!

Shaan’s Breaking Records

Pakistan Cricket

Shaan Masood is in the form of his life in Pakistan breaking records galore at the top of the order for Islamabad. His current total of 1237 runs, including an incredible 5 tons and 7 fifties in List A cricket, is the most by any batsman during a single season in Pakistan. Whilst his appearances for Pakistan have so far been limited to red ball cricket, in this kind of form, it can’t be too long before we see Shaan batting in Pakistan green!

Craig Miles

Gloucestershire County Cricket Pro

We are delighted to welcome another star of the county circuit aboard Team B3 in the form of Gloucestershire paceman Craig Miles. The 23-year-old has long been touted as a future star for England earning comparisons with Stuart Broad whilst picking up 197 first class wickets already in his brief career. Here’s hoping that with his B3 Belter in hand, Craig can take the next step in his career and challenge for international honours!
