We have signed a Top Gun

We are incredibly pleased to announce that New Zealand white ball ace Colin Munro has joined team B3, having been recommended to us by our old friend and New Zealand legend, Andre Adams.

Colin will be playing for Worcestershire Rapids in the T20 Blast and representing the Trent Rockets in this year’s Hundred competition. Whilst in the UK, he took the opportunity to drop by the B3 Factory to discuss his requirements with Blathers and Gav.

Fittingly, and staying with the Top Gun theme, Colin chose the Maverick shape from our Series Range of bats at a weight of 2Ib 11oz.

Colin comments on his choice of a bat, “the Maverick is a great shape and meets all my requirements. It’s a full profile, a mid to low swell, with a slight bow. “The pickup is incredible!”

We look forward to watching Colin this summer smash the white ball to all parts for both the Rapids and the Rockets.

The standard Maverick is a shorter blade with a longer handle, but Colin required this bat shape in a traditional size. This isn’t a problem for us at B3 because we manufacture our bats from our factory in Nottingham and can easily make these changes to accommodate Colins’ requirements.
