Steve Mullaney Scores 1000 Championship Runs

Posted on 21/05/2016 by B3 Cricket

Congratulations goes to team B3’s Ambassador and Nottinghamshire CCC star Steve Mullaney for breaking the 1000 runs scored in a season in division 1 of the county championships.

Using his B3 belter he scored a total of 1009 runs (from 1710) in division one of the County Championships in 2016 which placed him 15th highest runscorer in the division but  in sixth position when comparing strike rate. Also ranking in wickets taken, best bowling economy rates, and in the top three opening partnerships of 2016 he must be up there in the MVP awards for 2016.

Adding to this, 2016 saw him take the captanancy in the absence of Club Captain Chris Reed.

Steve is now on his way to play A grade cricket in Australia – we wish him a safe trip as he flies half way around the world flying the flag of b3 and promoting amoungst the top players in Australia.
