On the evening of Thursday November 30th. , B3 Director Russell Evans, died suddenly whilst undergoing what was thought to be a routine hospital procedure.

This is an incredible shock to everyone who knew and loved Russ. We have all lost a dear friend and a wonderful man.

In weeks to come we will pay tribute to Russell and his influence in B3’s journey and the various aspects of his life in which he had so many great friends. However for now, we are just trying to help Russell’s family as much as we can in this very difficult time.

Thank you for your support and tributes to Russ. It was very fitting that the England players, most of whom would have known Russell personally, wore black arm bands on the first day of the Adelaide Test, as a mark of respect.

The details of the funeral still haven’t been announced due to the medial enquiry process. We will of course, announce this once we have firm information.
